My Coprosma 'Evening Glow' has lost most of its leaves which has not happened during previous winters. ( Admittedly I have not given it any winter protection last winter or any previous ones). Will it recover?

Thanks very much. Signs are positive but must remember some fleece next winter!!

Try scratching the bark on the main stem just above soil level. If it shows green, the plant is still alive; if brown or grey, it's an ex-plant.
