I have 2 malus domestica summerred plants about 2 ft 6 " to plant in small garden. They are small ones not going to exceed 5ft but because I have to plant them apart in a small garden am concerned about positions I can plant them

I see from the internet that they are pollination group B, which should help you to choose a suitable tree.

Hi Mia! Welcome to Goy. It seems you will have three Malus as you need a pollinator! If your trees will not exceed five feet, you dont need to worry too much about their position. I must admit that I have never heard of Summered Apples. I have Googled it and one site suggests that they can grow up to 10ft in height (unless they are on very dwarfing rootstock) and are self-sterile so I if they are both of the same variety you will need another variety in the vicinity to pollinate. Perhaps there are some fruit specialists out there that can provide some more information.
