Hi, we think we gave a rating or mice under our decking, brought in pest control but he doesn't seem to think we have because the bait stations have not been touched could it be a hedgehog my dog is going nuts outside and inside my house

Thanks for your feedback, would a hedgehog dig a hole under decking, and how long would it stay there, we're going nuts because we can't see any sign of anything.

If this persists, then why not buy a wire-netting squirrel trap? You can buy online or at a garden centre and get one that you can bait with dog or cat food and as this will be more appetizing it will draw out the creature (what ever it might be) without harming it.

what diameter is the hole? rabbits and badgers are both diggers as are foxes and they [fox] make dens under decking. Whilst squirrels dig holes they don't make tunnels as such.

Rat hoes aren't normally as wide as that.

yes it could be a hedgehog or a rabbit or squirrel. if bait isn't being touched then it is unlikely to be rats or mice as you were told.
