One designed specifically for paths and driveways, such as Pathclear, because they have a residual effect. Most effective used in April/May, when it'll keep the weeds away for 3-4 months, but you can use it now if you want.

yes I'd go with Pathclear too. mind it doesn't run off onto planted areas though.

Someone advised Roseate weed killer but I think I may go with Patheclear as you have both advised.
Bamboo, you say April/May? will it not work too well in this month? x

No,it will work, its just a bit of a waste, because most weeds will be dying back within a month or so anyway, so you won't notice the benefit of 3 months with no weeds. Rosate weedkiller will kill weeds, the same way a flamethrower or Round up will - but it has no lasting effect, it just kills through strongly growing, green topgrowth and will not prevent other weeds from growing.

Will pathclear be effective for moss too? I get it between the blocks.

Yes, it will, but again, more effective in spring.

Now why haven't I tried that one, DUH, we have a problem with ground elder in the granite that is part of our driveway, its a nightmare this year and I have tried lots of remedies that simply have had no effect on it at all, Pathclear is worth a try isn't it, because its wet and warm its still growing like mad, cannot get rid completely as some has rooted amongst the hedgerow...

Definitely worth using Lincslass, but you need a fine rose on the watering can so you don't flood the area and cause run off onto any adjacent planting areas
