My first Japanese maple (it's potted) Lost all of it leaves due to stressful conditions, there are baby leaves coming in. It's late summer without leaves. Any chances of them growing back before fall?

Unlikely, and it'd be better if they didn't, they'll only fall off anyway as Fall progresses. If its in a pot and you get freezing winters, don't forget to insulate the pot so the roots don't freeze.
