My beloved fig tree was blown over yesterday. It's still attached slightly but otherwise on the ground can I rescue it - if so how? Thank you

As it doesn't look as if the trunk has broken, doing as Bamboo says is about as much as you can do!

You can do more. Propagate it by taking a few cuttings and rooting them. I would do this ASAP. This way you can give your perhaps fatally injured tree posterity.

Well there's not much you can do other than reaffix it to a support - it really needs a good strong,rigid trellis to be attached to.
