Can anyone recommend a good supplier of a 2m high wooden obelisk? Unfortunately hubby has no DIY skills so can't ask him to knock one up. I understand they will most probably come flat packed with instructions I might manage to put it together!

Heaps of suppliers on line including one in Lichfield if you persuade OH to go on a trip! Avoid the cheapies and make sure its pressure treated.

Yes I had a look at the Lichfield planter company but thought they were far too posh and expensive for me!

I bought a cheap and cheerful arch once and it didn't last very long. We have splashed out on a better one to replace it as it has a 10 year guarantee.

Mmmm .... might have to be a christmas present. But you are right, if you go and buy a cheap one, it will cause more trouble then it's worth. Besides it will be in front garden on display, hopefully supporting sweet peas next year.

Put together yourself the least expensive ones start at $70.00 USA. You might try eBay.
