This appeared in my flower pot so have cultivated it, is it a common weed or something more promising?

It was an agapanthus and this made a guest appearance beside it.

It's Sedum spathulifolium. There are several varieties of it but I don't know which one this is. It is good for growing in rockeries or troughs or on walls, or cracks between paving slabs etc.
