My oriental poppies are a delight every year in 2 different sites in my garden but this year none appeared. No foliage, never mind Flowers. Have they died? Do they skip a year? Thanks

well if you've not had any sign of growth it is not looking promising. wait until spring and if no new growth appears you now have a new planting opportunity.
