This is not a Question :o))
Just to let you know.... I was told not to cut my Lacecap Hydrangea back to hard as it wouldn't flower this year...... but I did cut it hard back as the flowers last year were very small & it was getting too big & to my amazement it flowered & the blooms are lovely so I was ok after all :o)), here's the living proof LOL
Plus I did some cuttings & one has flowered :o))

Good oh. Love them, but we cannot grow them here. They flower on wood produced the year before flowering and sadly here we get an icy blast in April which usually destroys that so no flowers.
Well done with the cuttings too.

Its a lovely one too!
Perhaps you cut it back in time for it to grow some more shoots last year?

Pretty, pretty, Ladyessex! Actually no surprise to me, if you cut it back soon enough after bloom, last year.
