Hello everyone, I'm asking your advice on behalf of a friend who has an apricot tree.. It has fruited well this year, the apricots plump and highly coloured, the stones clear from the fruit, yet they are very acidic and tasteless... I wondered if you had any ideas why please?

I.e., just a few weeks short of ripe, especially if they are on the tough or crisp side. Any idea what variety?

Thank you Bamboo....yes it probably is due to the lack of sun, they are really ripe with a rosy blush...
Sorry Tug, he couldn't remember the variety...but a good size and a laden tree this year, that ripe that lots are falling off!
