my runner beans are not doing so great this year, I've noticed that the bees are not going to the front of the flower but to the back, they are biting into the receptacle and therefore not pollenating the flower- does anyone know why?

Some kinds of bumblebees do this, but not honeybees. Probably another case of other species taking over as the honeybees die off.
