Hi Everyone,

I have planted inmy garden two "Golden Celebration" standard Roses, by David Austin. These put out a magnificent show in May, but are all gone now. Leaving a bit of a mess with very long branches, which I do not think I should have, .....so, question is - should I just shorten the branches now, or leave it until next spring when I understand is the recommended time for pruning these roses I .don't want to cut them right back, maybe just take half the length of the long branches off to make itlook more tidy, and give it back some shape. Please advise

yes, reduce the flowering stems by half and you may get a few more flowers later in the season.
