my name is Roy, my enquiry isif you can help,my red rose flowering ,to buds are full but they are not opening they just rotting, canyou perhaps give me an answer as to what my problem is thanking you kindly .

True. I've found in spells of poor wet weather the buds sometimes rot without opening.

that's my thoughts too. damage by the wet weather.

Need a photo really- could be powdery mildew, could be you've had a lot of rain at the wrong time and its affected the flowerbuds - some varieties of rose are more susceptible to rain damage than others.
