I picked these very tall alliums because they wern't white as sold (mount everest). Today they are filling my ktchen with a lovely perfume which really surprised me as I thought all alliums were either scentless or smelled of onion! Does anybody know what. The variety is please? They were about 3' high in my garden.

Violet beauty is a fragrant one but mine flowered 3 / 4 weeks ago. they are the ones preferred by florists for the perfume.
