I transplanted a large sago palm 2 years ago, I thought it had died, but this year it has new growth, can I cut the old yellow leaves off,or should I wait till they drop off?

Hi, well the choice is yours, it won't do the palm any harm if you cut them off, so if you can live with the dead fronds, just wait until they drop off naturally, otherwise cut them off as close to the trunk as you can, without damaging the trunk, Derek.

I prefer to cut the old leaves off, since they can take years to drop.
