I don't really know what the climate of your area is like but I think that for April you could use spring flowering bulbs, but you will have to research treatment for them when you cut. Some of them require unusual techniques to last a few days as cut flowers. I suggest you do some research with commercial growers in your area. They would be the best for info. Striking up a friendly relationship with one now, can help a lot, if you run into last minute problems also.

April is still very early, isn't it.... think you'd be looking at daffodils and/or tulips. Choose tulips withlong stems and the standard 'goblet' shaped flowers rather than the little dainty types, at they are more reliable & I think would give greater scope. re daffs, I think N. February Gold is a particularly lovely creature that I could picture in a bouquet?!

Wow you are very brave thats quite a responsibility.
Hyacinth is always pretty for a bouquet and smells beautiful as well. You can pick off the individual pips and wire them separately and use them as an in fill flower. What is the colour scheme going to be?

Hello thank you for your email . I had hoped to grow tuber roses.Pink and cream But unfortunately they dont bloom to May. My daugher is getting married April. I got in touch with local commercial growers they said i may be able to purchase them from holland. i am still going to give it a go though.
thanks again. My daughter is wearing ivory and i think the bridesmaids will be in pink (shrimp colour)

You can get pinky-salmony coloured narcissus I think. Also cream and white ones, including doubles.
