If they're orangey yellow, its Rust - you can spray with an appropriate fungicide, but it won't do much now. Its very common on these plants, so watch for it next year from about June onwards, inspect weekly and spray at the first hint of rust appearing. Ensure you clear all and any fallen leaves from beneath the tree and dispose of them.
