I would use a balanced fertilizer such as Green Light 20-20-20, or Grow-More Organic 5-5-5, for the organic option. If growing a chia pet, no fertilizer is necessary--they don't last long enough to worry about that. If growing for the seeds, You will probably need a green house to start them now, though you might get away with an outdoor crop in the southern part of the state. Good luck!
