I would just like to thank all the people who answered my question re the monkey puzzle tree. Is it possible to buy a miniature monkey puzzle tree? I can't believe that anyone could be so silly as to plant such a potential monster of a tree in such a small garden, which is approx 8 feet square.

No, there aren't any dwarf varieties - but as I said before, I've seen them in gardens six feet long by 5 feet deep (from house to front wall), so people do I'm afraid.
