Hi, welcome to GoY, I'm sorry to say, that most roses like full sun, I could only find 1 that was suitable for a north facing wall, {can't remember the name, but it wasn't Margaret Merrill}, so I would suppose that this 1 falls into the full sun category, Derek.

The David Austin site lists some that will grow in shade - I suppose it depends how deep the shade is.
