I have two penstemens and am wondering if I should cut them down now over winter? Any advice would be appreciated

I generally tidy mine up in Spring.

I do mine in spring unless they get damaged in the winter.

Previous question
I tend to cut mine half way and new shoots grow from what's left but lots of people do cut them right back.
Probably be guided by what the weather does to them - ours look OK so far.
