Nest box.
I've just noticed two long tailed tits checking out the nest box. Surely it's too late to breed again? Or do they know something about the weather that we don't?

I hope they're house hunting Seaburn since there's a bug hotel only a couple of feet away. Besides that the garden is full of spiders - too many for my liking.
It would be nice to think they want to live there even only for the winter.

They may be hunting for spiders etc or for a winter roost. they usually roost in groups of 6+ so they might just be house hunting.
