I moved house a couple of years ago and the front lawn is in a poor condition. I will aerate it next month but what else can I do or treat it with, and when, to improve the quality.

I would suggest a photo or a more detailed description of what is going on with your lawn. As it stands now there is not much to go on for members to give you advice.
