I have lots of digging and grafting to do in my garden but I have a strawberry plant with lots of offshoots. Can I simply snip them off and plant the ends that have tiny roots on them? the main plant is in a pot with a couple of white strawberries on it.

Welcome, Fondantkiss!
In my experience, they usually do a lot better if you leave them attached to the mother until they have a good sized clump of roots, Maybe pin them into pots of soil until the roots grow more, then cut the umbilical.
