Second crop of potatoes are eaten away by ?

Second crop of potatoes are eaten away buy ?? Each plant has been dug with the same problem. Grown on a new allotment, is there any suggestion for next year ? The early crop have been perfect.

Agree, most likely those horrid little black keel slugs.

Probably slugs but difficult to give a definitive answer could also be eel worm and number of other nasties...
