My onion sets have bolted. Is there anything I can do about it?

And next year, look for smaller sets. That may be difficult, though: every year, my supplier sends me bigger ones. Maybe the accountants that run the brokers these days think that that is an improvement! :/

All you can do is fold the stem over and then lift them after a week or so, they'll be smaller than usual.
