My wife is a bird feeder nut, for the past six months, we have been feeding Nyger seed, by now you will know the question. How do I kill off the Nyger that is now growing profusely below the feeders.

Herbicides below a bird feeder would not be my choice. Manual removal by whatever means is what I have done.
