I have a good crop of Maris Peer main crop potatoes, and would like advice on the best method of storage.

Store in a cool, dark area away from sunlight and in a frost-free, airy place preferably in a brown paper sack or Hessian sack. I thought Maris Peer was a 2nd earlyand not recommended for longstorage. I would keep an eye onthem. Good that you got a good crop.

Maris Peer is definitely a 2nd early as Scotsgran says. The potatoes will not keep for any length of time and should have been lifted as needed Sally. We've been giving some of our early potato crop away as we grew too many.
