Who do I stop aphids destroying my roses. I've tried shop sprays, soapy water etc but to no avail. Can you help?

there is a large number about this year. I tend to gently squish them as I walk past.

Do you like oranges? Throw the orange peels down around your roses. The citrus oil is a natural repellent. It won't harm anything.
Banana peels work too. Dice them up & sprinkle them around the base of your plants. You'll also be fertilizing them.
