I have just had my garden dug ready for building extension to back of my bungalow. At bottom of trench there two roots protruding which continuously seep a milky/watery liquid. This has continued for four days. Any ideas?

Is there a tree nearby? If so you have a warning the the rots will go under your extension.

Well the roots of whatever it is have been cut and they're 'bleeding', nothing you can do about, it'll stop eventually.
