Once the night temps are consistently over 7ยบ C, it should be safe to leave it outside in a sheltered area. Just keep an eye on the weather, since they need to come in before any frost at all.

The UK is too cold for rubber plants to be planted outside. You could stand the pot outside on a warm summer day but planting outside would be to say goodbye to it.
