Hi we are due to move to a new house in the small garden is pavement and want it all grass is it possible to lay turf on pavement ?

No, absolutely not. You will need to take up the paving and work the soil before laying turf. If your soil is poor, you will also need to add a thick layer of topsoil before laying the turf. If the garden is small, this shouldn't be too difficult a task.

I wouldn't recommend artificial grass. A neighbour has recently laid some on top of their concreted back garden, and, frankly, it looks dreadful. Use the real thing if possible - it looks good, and a garden with a soil base is far, far better for wildlife and the environment.
