Good idea to repot every couple of years between flower cycles. Use orchid medium from a good garden center. When you take the orchid out of its pot, remove all the old potting mix & rinse the roots under cool fresh water to wash away any salt build up from fertilizer. Repot in slightly larger pot loosely in new orchid potting mix. Don't pack it in. Roots need lots of air.
