Hi there
I am a total beginner at gardening and would appreciate some advice!
I brought this raspberry plant last year and we had some delicious fruits from it. It is an Autumn Bliss plant.
My questions are:
When should I prune the plant?
And I cannot put any plants into the ground so the raspberry plant is in this pot. It' seems to be thriving but there are so many new shoots popping up from the ground! What can I do with those?
Any advice is gratefully received
Thanks
Kayliegh

This is totally weird Kayliegh, a first timer usually receives lots of help. I'm sure some of the experts will be in touch with you very soon.

Hi, welcome to GoY, I don't usually comment on questions about fruit and veg, but as nobody has commented yet, here goes, as it's autumn fruiting remove the shoots from last year, leave about 5 of this years new shoots, try to pull them off the plant, as cutting them off will allow them to come back, all the canes should be cut back to ground level in february each year, to produce new canes for fruiting in autumn, Derek.
