We have a very large lavatera which has been regularly pruned. Would it be possible to divide it as I'm afraid it will otherwise outgrow the available space?

Answers
Cuttings would be a good idea anyway as they seem to have a tendency to be fairly short lived.

If you mean the large, shrubby, woody based Lavatera, no, they can't be split. Might be worth striking cuttings though, so you can take out the original after one's grown on enough.
