Did you mean Canariensis? If so its a date palm and won't survive our winters outside.

Will tolerate occasional light frost, (though it may suffer some leaf damage) so long as its soil isn't really wet and heavy, but best to ensure it doesn't experience temperatures below 5 deg C. Does best in full sun and a sheltered position. If you've just bought this plant, then it will need hardening off before you move it outdoors...
