Cosmos seedlings. My compost bin doesn't seem to get hot enough to kill seeds hence I have numerous cosmos (I think) seedlings appearing in a newly created bedding area where I spread the compost. Will they all die over the winter?

Yes, they will die, well assuming we start getting cold weather, its positively balmy here in London currently - but that doesn't mean there aren't more seeds waiting to germinate next spring...
