I have a "Heuchera" firechief am I right in thinking you can cut the flowers off and dry them for displays if so when is the best time to do this

Not wanting to sound simplistic, but try it. Trial and error is a good teacher for things like that.You can certainly dry them for arrangements. Whether you like the result is up to you. I can imagine they would look pretty sprayed silver? Tie them in small bunches and hang them upside down in a dry warmish place.
