It is a bulb, i know that as i planted it!
Only i neglected to label it
Also something has been nibbling off the buds before opening, i,m thinking earwig?

Hi, I agree, Gladiolus murielae, are they in pots ? as they will need to be taken inside somewhere frost free for the winter, as theyre frost tender, b t w, Gladiolus are grown from corms, not bulbs, Derek.
