What type of screening/hedging would you recommend to replace 3 fir trees between neighbouring front gardens, west facing house? Many thanks.

Easier to answer if we knew how long the planting area is and what height you want the hedge to be - 3 fir trees is no clue, they could be dwarf conifers or 50 foot leylandii.
