Lithodora Diffusa

I have a couple of these plants in 2 separate areas. Overall they seem to be doing ok and growing well. But I've noticed that when they put on new foliage in early spring and now sometimes the new foliage starts yellow in colour, although it tends to green up later. Is this common? (See bottom of attached photo)

I'm not in a chalky area. I would have thought if it was some mineral deficiency all the leaves would be affected rather than just a few. My other Lithodora was much worse affected when it put on new leaves in spring, but if you see it now it is completely green. And if you look at this plant you can see that above the yellow leaves the later emerging ones are more green. It's puzzling really.

Small micronutrient deficiencies can be very spotty on a plant, with one branch turning colors, while its neighbors stay green. Also, deficiencies can be temporary, caused by reduced uptake during bad weather.

It looks like manganese deficiency, though I'm not certain if it's subject to that. Is it growing in very chalky soil, Bendipa?
