I do but you need a sheltered spot and make sure they are well covered with extra compost.

Thats what I do with mine and stand them under the eves.

Do what Cammomile said or just plant them in the ground.

Or sink them pot and all in the ground, and mound mulch over them.

Let them die back naturally. When the leaves turn brown, then you can cut them off. Keep it watered too.

True, lily bulbs never go fully dormant, so they need constant moisture, just less when they are dozing.
