WE HAVE HAD THREE BLACK CURRANT
BUSHES FOR FOUR YEARS, AND HAVE
NEVER HAD ANYFRUIT ON THEM, will
they ever fruit or not. I have had blackcurrant
bushes before and they have always fruited very well.

My last one took a long time to produce much. Better luck next year - what would we gardeners do without "next year"....Have you mulched it well over the winter and fed it sulphate of potash in late winter ? If you are near the coast a good heap of washed seaweed round them might help.Otherwise hard to say as your others did well so you clearly know how to look after them.
Are you in the same garden as before? If not could be just the new situation not suiting as well?
