What plant is this? Peppermint?

For this summer I purchased what was labelled as peppermint seeds and germinated them as per the instructions. The plant has grown well, but it neither looks or smells like peppermint or any other kind of mint for that matter.
Does anyone know if this is indeed peppermint? If not, would anyone know what it could be?

I had never heard of Rue but it certainly looks a lot like it!
I'll let it grow a little to see how it develops then.

If it is Rue then do be careful, the plant can cause skin problems for susceptible people.

Thanks for the heads up Owdboggy. I might not bother letting it grow then as I don't see how the plant could be of any use :-O

Could it be Ruta graveolens or Rue ?
