Okay let me see if I understand you correctly. You received a bundle of raspberry canes and instead of planting them singly in a row just plonked them all in together - yes?

You will need to lift when they stop fruiting and plant as individual canes in a row. They are all separate plants not one plant. If you don't spread them out, they need about a foot between canes when it comes to time to prune the canes that have already fruited you will have problems. You should be seeing new canes growing already which will be your fruiting canes next year. Ideally you plant the canes October time or in February March but I think you will have to move sooner than October. Just keep well watered.
