Why are the leaves of my phormium turning green? Is it just a sign of age?

Thanks. It is the bronze variety- so ag e (14 yrs) as I suspected.

Depends what colour it was to start with, but to be honest, a lot of the dark purply coloured ones do go more greenish as they age, which is really irritating. One that stays reliably dark is Platt's Black.
