Hi everyone, I've been looking for some plants on the plantify website, but never having used this site before, I'm a bit dubious about buying from them, as they seem to be a bit cheaper than most sites, what I would like to know is;1 are they good quality plants, they're all in 2 litre pots, and 2, are they well packaged,ie not likely to be damaged in transit, thank you, Derek.

They claim to have the biggest online selection of plants but I've never found them to have anything in stock when I've looked at their website (usually just to get a price comparison rather than a definite intention to buy)
Are you looking at something that you can't get locally? That would be my reason for shopping with them with the proviso that for something really special/unusual I would go to a specialist nursery.

hi derek I'm currently waiting for an order from Plantify, my first, but I did look on here and found that a few others were happy with purchases I think Dottydaisy has used them, but it says on their website they have a delay at present as high volume of orders, I ordered 25th April, I'm still waiting but should arrive soon I hope, I'm anxious to receive them now :))

Hi, thank you both for your comments, Urbanite, when I first looked on this site, there were thousands of 'out of stock' notices, but I just asked for herbaceous perennials that were in stock, and found there were over 800, I used to go to 2 nurseries near me, but the 1 that had more choice, changed hands last year, and the prices doubled overnight, the other 1, although they sell quite a few other plants, they're a clematis specialist, and the others they sell very rarely have labels, plus with my wife being disabled, I don't get a lot of time to visit them. Daylily, that seems an awfully long time to wait for delivery, they're advertising order now for delivery 29th may - 2nd june, I think I would get in touch with them, and hurry them along a bit, Derek.

Hi derek the status of my order has changed to 'processing' so I am hoping it will be this week, but I will get in touch end of week if not, my date given was '5th to 10th May' ! :)

Hi Daylily, I went on and ordered 12 plants, but the delivery dates have changed to 5th june -10th june, which is rather a long time, but as I'm not in any hurry for them, I can wait, as I've saved quite a bit compared to other sites, Derek.

Daylily, it seems to me that they didn't put the seeds in the pots to grow them until they received your order. ;0)
