Thank you to all who suggested plants that are in flower in May, I wanted to let you see photos of two of mine that I have. Number one is Lewisia, never fails to flower to delight me, and planted into a stone wall with hardly any soil, and second is Trollius cultorum, I have 3 plants I put in my garden about 8 years ago and they never fail to make a show, just starting to open up now:

Well done the wet you have planting the L.Cotyledon keeps the wet out of the crown!
