The clematis "Fond memories" which I have had for 3 years is showing brown patches on the leaves..It is growing in a large pot...does anyone know whether this could be a fungus? have attached a couple of photos showing the problem.

The pot is 18x18ins......and has no morning sun.....sun hits it around early afternoon. The other clems are also potted but don't seem to have this problem.

Do you water all the clematis in the same way? It doesn't look like fungus to me,if there just a few leaves affected I'd cut them off and put in the normal wheelie bin rather than the recycling bin just in case.

All watered the same,MG.......I will cut off the affected leaves and give it a seaweed feed.

I suspect it has more to do with the clematis being in a pot... How big is said pot and is it in a cool spot?
